When Eagles Attack

I often enjoy watching the news online...as it's more convenient than waiting around for the news to come on at night. It's just another great reason why everyone should have access to the web. Unrelated to anything technological...the most recent news story I watched online was quite interesting...especially as someone who owns a cat myself.

A woman was outside in her backyard with her small dog and cat. The cat was playing on the ground as well as her dog. All of a sudden a bald eagle swooped down on top of her cat and carried it away with it. Most people don't think of anything like this ever happening but it is possible. It reminded me of a time when I was younger. A HUGE hawk came swooping down in our back yard and tried to pick up rabbit. The rabbit got away after my sister scared it...but there was fur and blood everywhere. It makes me more watchful when I have my cat out and about now, that's for sure!
