Effects of Macbook use without battery
I am an avid Macbook user. I used to have a PC, but now would never go back!! I love my Mac. I did learn something very interesting today though...something that would probably be of interest to some other Macbook users as well.
Have you ever used your Macbook without the battery in it while on AC power? If so, have you ever noticed that the performance was not up to par? I guess I had noticed this a while back, but didn't think much of it. Now reading some things online, it is confirmed that there is at least a 37% drop in performance when the battery is not in. Mac has a reason for this....but ultimately the main point is that if you want your computer to perform at it's best, it's better to have the battery in. Many think that it will prolong the battery life for a few months by taking nit out...but if it means taking a hit performance wise, I personally don't think it's worth it.
