Is the format war beginning to end?
Seeing how popular the posts have been, dealing with the HD DVD/Blu-ray battle, I figured it was time for a poll! Please vote by selecting your choice from the drop-down menu shown below. If you have any comments to go along with your answer, please leave them for us in the comments section of this post (or on Digg.) Things to consider: Warner Bros. Entertainment recently went Blu-ray exclusive. Paramount Pictures has gone HD DVD exclusive taking its DreamWorks Animation SKG, DreamWorks Pictures, Paramount Vantage, Nickelodeon Movies, and MTV Films brands with it. Blockbuster video has committed to offering only Blu-ray videos eventually (and of course they will more than likely keep the current HD DVDs they already own, on the shelves.)

HD DVD is dead my friends! It is far crappier than Blu-ray, it is time to admit it!

Hd DVD are cheaper and support 1080p (even if your tv dosent). Go HD DVD.. beating blue ray in the polls atm
HD DVD will never be better than Blu-Ray, but as Ducker said, HD DVD are cheaper to buy and make so I say that the war has just begun!
HD DVD is finished! Xbox has a weaker media disc, just admit it!
The war is over. C'mon folks, when big time movie Directors (like Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay) have to spell-it-out to the red camp that Blu-ray is superior, I'm reassured that common sense will prevail here. HD-DVD is cheaper because Toshiba is losing hundreds of dollars on each machine; they are desperate and think Americans are too stupid to look past the 'going out of business' sale price.

HD DVD never stood a chance my friends! Blu-ray is more technologically advanced disc and that is just the way it is!
You guys don't have a clue! HD DVD is not 'less technologically advanced' by any means! Just because Blu-ray can store more data, does not make it more advanced!
